How we use data to run Aimy on the course

Summary

Aimy collects navigation, device, and reliability data to help you play golf with GPS in the cart — for example location while you use the product, which course you use, downloads and updates, and diagnostics so we can fix problems. We also process basic account and trial information for the device using the app. Short notices in the app (for example about your trial or an update) may generate simple technical logs when they appear or are closed—the ordinary kind of signal apps use to keep features working, not to learn private details about you. This policy describes how Aimy Golf Cart GPS (“Aimy,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, cart-mounted tablet software, and related services. It is meant to be readable; it is not a substitute for legal advice.

What we collect and why

Aimy is built to help you navigate a golf course using GPS on a cart-mounted tablet. Depending on how you use the product, we may process:

Location and play-related activity while you use the product — so we can show distances, follow progress hole to hole, improve mapping and routing, and troubleshoot course-specific issues.
Course and mapping data — such as which course you opened, what you downloaded, and related technical details so packages install and update correctly.
Device and subscription state — identifiers the app uses with our servers, trial or subscription status, and similar operational data so access and billing behave correctly.
Diagnostics and quality signals — such as error reports, performance signals, and logs so we can detect outages, reproduce bugs, and improve stability.
Support and communications you initiate — for example if you email us, use a contact form, or submit a request through the app.
Optional data you explicitly allow or we explicitly request — for example diagnostic “round” information we ask you to upload to troubleshoot a problem; we use it for that purpose.

In-app messages

Sometimes we show brief notices in the app—for example about your trial, an update, or something that affects play. We may log basic technical events (such as that a notice was displayed or dismissed) so the feature works reliably and important information can be confirmed as delivered.

What we do not do

We do not—and will not—sell your personal information. We do not use this data to build unrelated profiles beyond operating and improving Aimy, unless we tell you otherwise in a separate notice.

Retention
